McCain Evicts Angry Woman From Town Hall

The marvels of capitalism as laid down by the most fiscally conservative would obviously give the advantage to the sleek, efficient and so very effective private insurers, versus if the unwieldy mess maker; the US gov't public option. There is no way the insurance companies could go under unless they weren't as efficient as the government and I know that is a silly notion.

Lawmakers have another chance here to reform a shady(at best) industry, let them not go about this the same way they did wall street, for there shall be little patience from the citizens. Let the insurance companies tighten their belts and PROVIDE A BETTER PRODUCT. If I as a citizen am not entitled to assistance from my government then how is it that corporations ARE entitled to it? Simple; we do not have true representation as citizens, at least not that can compete with lobbying.

  1. You have to realize that the US government has a major advantage that the insurance companies do not... they don't have to make a profit! More than that the could do as they wanted and drive the price so low the insurance companies would not be able to compete and have to go out of business, while the government just writes it off as a deficit and continues on with business as usual. If the US government was a business they would have been shut down and in bankruptcy LONG ago. They have no right to tell corporations how to run their businesses this is not a socialist country even though it is well on its path to be. As far as the actual story goes, I am glad that McCain had the disruptive woman removed, while I more than completely disagree with the public option, I am not ignorant enough to say something does not need to be done about health care, with some rules and regulation enforced on insurance companies and some sensible conversation about what is needed not throwing money at organizations that do nothing just because they supported a campaign like ACORN we would be much better off.
